Traditional Winemakers since 1901

Nestled off the coast of Massachusetts and Maine, Caligo Harbor has been the home of Mirgancy Wines since 1901. The Mirgancy family's journey began in Boston, as a fishing dynasty deeply connected to the Atlantic trenches. In the early 1900s, patriarch Alasdair Mirgancy left everything behind for the isolated island, relocating his family to where the blood-rich soil offered an ideal environment for grape cultivation.

Alasdair meticulously selected grape varieties that thrived in their unique new home. As each new devotee embraced his dowry, they expanded the vineyards on Caligo Harbor and innovated techniques, creating wines infused with the island's unique essence.

The family gained recognition in the mid-20th century, attracting wine lovers drawn to the harmonious blend of land, sea, and the undead in their products. Today, the Mirgancy’s continue to honor their maritime roots, sacrificing visitors to live their story one glass at a time.
